Walking sightseeing tour of Split city centre and the UNESCO protected Diocletian's palace
Sightseeing tour (with a local guide in English, German, Italian, French...) usually takes around 2-3 hours, in course of which you are introduced to our rich ancient Roman and medieval heritage and more than 1.700 years of Split's history.
We'll take you around the Palace, walk through the amaizing Diocletian's cellars (the world's best preserved architectural complex from Late Antiquity), Peristyle, Public square, medieval streets, Golden Gate, and the famous promenade, Riva. Visiting the whole complex of Diocletian's cellars, cathedral (Diocletian's mausoleum) and the Baptistry (Jupiter's temple).

In course of around one hour you drive through outer Split city centre, Marjan hill and tunnel, see the famous Split football stadium, stop by for a photo break, walk and a panoramic view of islands and Split main harbour in Sustipan park...
Exploring Split on your own
You can visit some of the museums that we will suggest during the tour, climb up the 68 metres high bell tower, get lost in meandering streets of the old town, or just mingle with the locals, do some shopping and have coffee in one of the little sidestreet caffees.
Pass along a vivid green market – a place not to miss, when the local people from the inland Dalmatian villages come to sell their homemade products. You can buy some fresh fruit or local pastries...
Take a late afternoon walk to Marjan hill and watch the sunset from one of the special panoramic viewpoints on Split
Have dinner in a tipical traditional Dalmatian taverna, 'konoba', with simple and fresh local food and wine
Experience famous Split tradition: join the crowd of local people having a late evening walk in the city centre and along the promenade… Take a glance at its famous summer night life, and dance the night away in one of the local clubs.
