Brac, Croatia – One of 10 Best Islands to Live On
'Limestone formations loom above jagged coves, then give way to gorgeous sand and gravel beaches. Green olive trees soften the surroundings and contribute to the region's storied cuisine, including fresh fish, local cheeses and Plavac red wine. Lamb, fed on grass salted by the sea, is a particular delicacy. Life moves at the right speed, guided by an appealing old-world ethos.'
American magazine 'Islands' made a comprehensive research about the quality of living on the islands.
10 islands are called the islands of our dreams because they provide the conditions for ideal life: Brac island in Croatia, Big Pine Key in Florida, Crete in Greece, Waiheke in New Zealand, Curacao in Netherlands Antilles, Maui in Hawai, Nevis in Caribbean, Langkawi in Malaysia, Grand Cayman in Caribbean Sea and Palau in Pacific Ocean.
Specialised magazine 'Islands', January 2010.

Island Vis is as beautiful as Capri without the crowds
The remote Croatian island of Vis is as impregnable as a Bond villain's lair and as beautiful as Capri before the tourists. Despite its picture postcard Mediterranean beauty, its olive groves and vines, its ancient ruins and deserted beaches, it has virtually no tourists. It seems the only foreigners who have discovered it are those who arrive on the glamorous Italian and Austrian yachts that moor here in the evening.
Condé Nast Traveller, 11 November 2009.

The Spanish edition of Conde Nast Traveler belongs to the Conde Nast Publications group that includes Vogue, Architectural Digest, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker and Brides.

Croatia is the New Riviera and the New Capri ...last year - some five million tourists visited Croatia's coast - there are 1.246 islands by one count - easy island hopping - ancient haunts and real salt – sea excitement ... spectacular vistas ... ultrahip, centuries-old towns."
National Geographic, 2006

“With hundreds of islands to choose from, you can drop anchor in deserted coves, dive into the clear waters of the Adriatic or sail into port and visit historic towns, vineyards and pine forests.
With its reliable winds, good marina facilities and sheltered harbours, the Dalmatian coast is fast becoming one of Europe's most popular sailing-holiday destinations”
